While everyone else is doing lifestyle stuff in your living room, I've got a fully-equipped studio downtown with every prop, outfit, and accessory your heart could desire for newborn through first birthday sessions. You literally just show up with your baby and I've got the rest covered.
I'm basically a unicorn in Rockford's photography scene.
Thirteen years of weddings means I've seen it all, handled it all, and can navigate any curveball your big day throws at us. Rain? No problem. Family drama? I've got you. Timeline running late? Consider me your photographer/coordinator hybrid.
I've been doing this since some of these other photographers were in high school.
While other photographers might stress about your toddler's meltdown or your baby's feeding schedule, I'm over here packing extra patience and genuinely enjoying every beautiful, messy minute. Three kids of my own will do that to you.
I actually love your chaos.
This isn't a one-and-done situation. I'm the photographer you'll come back to for every milestone, every celebration, every "just because" moment. My clients become my friends, and their kids grow up knowing Aunt Katie with the camera.
We become family.
The real deal in a world full of copycats

When I was little, I was obsessed with our family photo albums. Like, obsessed-obsessed. I'd sit on the living room floor for hours, flipping through pages and studying every single picture like they held the secrets to the universe.
There was this one black and white photo of my grandparents at some party, my grandma perched on my grandpa's shoulders, both of them young and grinning and so ridiculously in love. Every time I looked at that picture, I felt this overwhelming wave of joy and connection to these people I adored.
That's when it hit me: I wanted to be the person who gave that feeling to other families.
Here's what I know for sure: photographs have superpowers. They can transport you back in time, make you feel emotions you forgot you had, and connect you to people across generations. They turn houses into homes and moments into legacies.
